Connect Instagram to Handyva

Before you start

• A Handyva account on a plan that includes Instagram
• An Instagram professional account (Business or Creator)
• The account linked to a Facebook Page you manage

Steps

1. Start the connection

   Open your handyva.com dashboard, go to Connections and choose Instagram. Or send “connect my Instagram” to @HandyvaBot in Telegram and tap the button it sends.

2. Check it's your account

   Our page shows the name of the Handyva account you're connecting to. Only continue if it's yours, then tap Continue.

3. Sign in to Facebook

   Log in with the Facebook profile that manages your Page. Choose Continue as your name.

4. Review and approve

   Select the Instagram account and its Facebook Page when asked, then review the permissions (messages, comments and basic profile) and tap Save or Continue.

5. All set

   You're sent back to handyva.com and Handyva confirms in Telegram that Instagram is connected. Try asking it something straight away.

What Handyva can access

• Read DMs and comments on your Instagram account
• Reply to DMs and comments you've approved
• Basic profile and Page details

Handyva only uses this access to do what you ask, never shares it, and always shows you messages, replies and posts before they go out.

Disconnect

In Handyva: dashboard → Connections → Disconnect, or tell the bot “disconnect my account”. On the platform: Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations → Handyva → Remove.

Troubleshooting

The link says it has expired

Connect links last 15 minutes. Ask the bot again or start from the dashboard for a fresh one.

Facebook says the app isn't verified or isn't available

Some connections are still being approved by the platform. If you see this, message /human and we'll add you to early access.

My Instagram account isn't listed

Switch it to a professional account in Instagram (Settings → Account type and tools), then link it to your Facebook Page and try again.
